I just finished watching The Gwen Araujo Story on Lifetime. Has anyone seen it? It's about a female who was born in a males body. Skipping to the debate, she was killed. A group of boys [who she made out with and had a hard time accepting who she was] beat her for five hours and proceeded to bury her lifeless body in a field. Their council told Gwen's mother that she shouldn't blame the boys, society is to blame.

Oh yah, one of the craziest things of the whole case and what pisses me off the most about it is that the boys were found guilty of second degree murder and none of them were charged with commiting any hate crimes.

Oh my goodness I saw that movie! I thought I was the only person who actually watched the whole thing. A lot of it was pretty upsetting, but it was great how Gwen's uncle was so supportive of her. I also wonder how no one noticed that she was male, considering that it seemed like she did more than just make out with those guys.

Silly Americans. The name of that movie puts me off it. Who's ever heard of The Gwen Araujo Story? Ha Ha...funny.
