PS3 Gaming Forum.......

We used to be a Clan of 118 solid members but we went our separate ways for various reasons. My group is looking to gather active PS3 users to join what we call the Sandlot. It's basically a place for our members to shoot the breeze during the day before we game at night. We currently run w/ COD4 and Madden mostly right now but we do get into other games and are also awaiting other title releases.

We just ask you to be cordial to each other, play PS3 regularly, and pop into the Forum to make friends. We call it the Sandlot cause we're trying to build a PS3 gaming community for friends to be able to communicate to each other on the forum and possibly become Best Gaming Buddies.

We do Events which we post on the forum calendar for people to become a part of. Right now we got a Madden season going along w/ COD4 events.

When i started this whole group/clan thing a year ago it was me and 3 guys which we swelled to over 300 hundred of us but then widdled it down to about 120 solid everyday gamers. Well from this group some of us wanted to go in different directions, some wanted to stay strictly COD, some wanted to go into gamebattles, and then my group that just wanted friends to game w/ no matter what the game. So now we're back to bare bones w/ just 25 of us but looking to grow again. We cant do that w/out new solid everyday gamers so if you're one and are lookin for friends to game and shoot the breeze w/ check us out.

If and when you do sign up please use your PSN name as your Forum name cause it decreases the confusion !!

We have a forum created for Friends List members to shoot the breeze and create events and all sorts of fun stuff. If you're looking to make friends thru PSN and Forum this could be for you. Do you play every night ? Are you looking for normal people to game w/, you know, guys that play fairly and use teamwork in objective games ? Do you not care about stats and just the Win ?? Check us out. We game COD4, Madden, Army of Two, GTAIV, BF:BC, and others. We used to be a COD4 clan of 120 but we separated into 3 groups. My group wanted to play all sorts of games so here we are. The Forum is called The Sandlot. We create Private events for us to do such as Knife battles, Pistols only, and all sorts of games. We also have a Madden season going. We use the forum to shoot the breeze and get to know each other which further improves the gameplay. If you can be cordial, online every night and are lookin for normal cats to play w/ check it out you wont be disappointed. If you dont put the time in you're wasting your time.

Hello and welcome perspective new members,

We originated from COD4 when it first came out. We had built a rather large base of friends to game w/ every night in a team orientated way. We had seen over 700 hundred members come thru our doors at the time. Even though we had all these cats in our forum only about 100 of them were die hard gamers which is what we're looking for. Well as COD4 got tired and new games came out our group kind of went in different directions and we split into 3-4 separate groups. My group the group you are contemplating joining is all about making friends, playing and visiting forum regularly. The 2 games we're heavily involved in right now are Socom and COD4 !!

Whats expected of you:

1. When you sign up you MUST use your PSN name as your Forum name, it keeps things simple and less complicates the procedure.
2. You must be cordial to ALL members.
3. There is ZERO tolerance for racial: jokes, overtures, Clan Tags, or any negative attitudes at all. You'll be dealt w/ !!
4. You MUST game regularly and contribute to the Forum regularly.
5. You shouldnt have another clan you game w/. There are exceptions but if most your gaming time will be spent w/ others then it kind of defeats the purpose of being here. We're asking you to join here so when we jump on we all have members to game w/. If you're splitting time w/ another group you're not gonna work out here.
6. You have to be willing to play an assortment of ONLINE games w/ us. COD4, Madden, MGS4, BF:BC, Ao2, Socom, plus others and games that havent hit the shelves yet.
7. You have to be willing to involve oneself in Private events we create, time permitting obviously !!
8. We dont care about stats except W's, you could be a beast or you could stink we dont care we just want cordial people to game w/. Leave the conceited chest bumping at the door, we leave it up to members to pat our backs not ourselves.

We consider ourselves family/brothers. The guys in this group right now are a tight knit group and we're looking to add to it. 80% of the members who join dont have that "it" quality and end up getting removed. If you're looking for a group or place that has fun goofing off in a forum and learning about each other and gaming w/ someone who will do the right thing in game this is the place for you. If you do join, when you're validated please make sure to post in certain threads to assure you get added to our Master PSN list w/ the proper information attached to it.

We are the SANDLOT the proverbial sandbox and tree fort of gaming. You can find our members online from 7pm till 2am EST. We're mostly US members but that shouldnt deter you unless your gaming times dont match.
